Yuletide past

Well the darkest time of the year has come and gone, and with it another year has begun. Already we’re thinking ahead to what we want to accomplish in this new year. We’ve been busy, as I’m sure everyone is at this time of year; trying to find time for family, trying to find time for ourselves, and of course trying to find (or make!) just the right gifts for everyone….

I have to admit, I didn’t think I’d get these finished, but I lit a fire inside myself and remembered why I’d begun them in the first place:

These shells were very beautiful when I found them, and they came from a place that is very beautiful to me; not anywhere exotic, but perhaps more special in its own way.

The people I wanted to give these to are very beautiful as well; amazing women with wonderful spirits. Hopefully the beauty I saw in these shells and the special place they came from can remind these women how amazing I think they are!
